Lukas: Image Quality?

Even so it is just a clip that probably suffers somewhat by going through upload/Picassa, looking at the actual vid on my PC at max size, I cannot tell the diff in image quality - what you see is what I got.

What's making me wonder is that there is no way the license plates of the two vehicles (destined for near-collision a split second later) are legible - yet in the samples I see for 1080 cams license plates tend to be legible.

Could I be missing something setup-wise?

This image seems off. At this distance both plates should be fully legible. This could have a lot to do with the storage option they are using and/or the settings they selected in the Lukas Ace GUI.

Thanks for the observation.

I guess I have to start playing with "Sharpness" , "Saturation", "Brightness", "LSC" (?), and "ACCE" (?). I'm guessing "Defog" is a no-brainer: just leave it Off.
