M2 Camera 1: A long time ago I replaced its battery with a capacitor but it never stores the date/time as a time stamp in-video despite being connected to a USB power source during recording and being shut off the proper way (manually stop recording then powered off by holding down the power button instead of abruptly shutting off its USB power source).

M2 Camera 2: Had a battery but I think it overheated and now it has ballooned. I will need to replace it.

Question: Is there an improved capacitor that I can buy for each that stores the date/time? It's been a while since I tinkered with the inner components of these cameras and not sure of a reputable supplier for power.

Also are screws available to buy as well? I may have lost one on each camera during the ballooning of these batteries.
