M6+ Rattle

Hello all,

I've been noticing an issue with my M6+ and was looking to see if anyone had any fixes. The camera itself seems to be creating a rattle where the mount and camera connect, but if I press the camera into the mount there is no rattle.

I'd hate to think of gluing the camera to the mount, but the noise makes the recorded audio annoying/useless and it's actually loud enough that I hear it while driving. I drive a Mk7 GTI and every time I let the rpms get high before shifting, the rattle gets really intense.

I really enjoy the camera other than this rattle; any help would be most welcome.

While I'm not personally familiar with this particular camera I have found that Blu-Tack reusable adhesive putty often works successfully to eliminate various dash camera rattling and vibration issues. It is easily removed and avoids having to do anything that will permanently alter or damage the camera or it's mount. The product is cheap enough that it is worth a try even if in the end it doesn't work for you.
