Difference between v3.0G & v3.1G:

v3.0G:

• Under 1080p 60fps recording mode, Marcus 3 always records at 60 frames per second, both at night and day time.
• The slowest shutter speed is 1/60s, providing smooth video with 60fps high frame rate.

v3.1G:

• (Activate 1080p 60fps Smart Slow Shutter Mode)
• Under 1080p 60fps mode, when encountered insufficient light (low light condition),
• Marcus 3 will auto detect and switch into 1080p 30fps recording.
• Recording at day and night time with sufficient incoming light, Marcus 3 provides smooth 1080p 60fps video.
• If it’s insufficient low light condition, Marcus 3 will auto switch to 1080p 30fps.
• The slowest shutter speed becomes 1/30s during 1080p 30fps, providing brighter image.

Improvement & Bug fix:

1. Enhance WDR (Wide Dynamic Range) performance.
2. Improve noise reduction.
3. Fix Time-change bug when install Marcus GPS mouse.
4. Add Time Zone Settings and GPS Auto Time Calibration function.
5. After GPS positioning, Marcus3 offers GPS Auto Time Calibration by your Time Zone setting.
6. (This feature needs to be activated by Marcus GPS mouse)
7. Add FCWS activated-speed setting:User may choose 60/70/80km/hr.
8. When speed is higher than setting, FCWS will notify with warning Beep and Alert Icon.
9. (This feature needs to be activated by Marcus GPS mouse)
10. Support SDXC Micro SD card.
11. Fix G-Sensor XYZ value display on Vico-Player.
12. Enlarge font size in LCD display.

The only difference between v3.0G and v3.1G is the Smart Digital Slow Shutter
Mode under 1080p 60fps recording. User may upgrade by preference.
V3.1G version is recommended by VicoVation.

Upgrade Steps

Step 1
Please make sure the file you downloaded is v3.0G/v3.1G with
instruction manual. File name: sd_vico_MS3.bin.
The file size is about 23MB.
Step 2
Copy sd_vico_MS3.bin into your Micro SD card.
(Special Notice: Do Not put into any folder, just the root of your
Micro SD card)

Step 3
Insert the Micro SD card into Vico-Marcus 3, power on by USB cigar
car charger in car. Auto recording will be activated normally after
power-on. And press UPPER key button to enter the MENU →
Playback

Step 4 (IMPORTANT STEP)
In the playback mode, press ORANGE BUTTON and UP key together at the
same time (first press ORANGE BUTTON and then UP key). Holding for 5
seconds, Vico-Marcus3 will enter upgrading automatically.

Step 5
Screen will show Updating. Please wait for 20 seconds. DO NOT power off
Marcus 3 while upgrading. Device will show confirmation display and reboot
automatically after upgrading successfully.

Step 6
Please reset to factory default after upgrading.
The user might have to reset the previous configuration again.
Notice: After default, interface will be English Default. User can re-start the
device to reset the default language, clock and time zone.
Enter MENU → System to make sure Software version is v3.0G/v3.1G and
format Micro SD card (Before format, please backup important file)
