FineVu CR-500HD, MateGo MG188
Does anyone have any information on the new 300 series of MateGo MG dash cams?

What's the difference between those and the older MG188 cameras? Apart from appearance.

I've been using the MateGo MG188 for over a year and its been great so far. I'm just wondering if it's worth the upgrade.

I have in hand Matego MG300 for nearly 8 month. It is same as MG300W, - difference is MG300W has 154degree lens, MG300 is 120 degree, other than that they are same.
MG188 is older ( outdated ) model.

Here is more info about MG300W;

and some illustrative differences vs MG188:

I must say, Matego MG300 series is very high built. I like almost evertyghing: good CPU ( Coach 12p ), dual supercap, high quality built etc, - the only drawback is they are using OmniVision OV2710 CMOS sensor, which is no good for this price-range dashcamera. For almost the same price you can get same design product Panorama II but with much better performance and higher standards due to using Sony Exmor CMOS and better firmware.
