Memory card

Apple at one time made a USB adapter for their oddball connector for the iPad. I bought one for my mother so she could use a standard keyboard. Turns out it ONLY supports USB memory card readers so that they can transfer pictures from a camera to the iPhone (One way only, transfer pictures to the apple device, but not from the apple device. I really hate Apple). Perhaps you can buy one of those for your iPhone.
 
You need an OTG adapter. Plenty of them on Amazon.
