Hi, which software should I use to merge 4 hours of driving?

How fast can I play the drive so it doesn´t is to long/boring and still shows the route?

It´s 40 minutes of driving which is most important to keep and share.

I use Avidemux. It's free, and very powerful. It allows the trimming, appending, and manipulating of videos. There are filters which will allow you to manipulate the frame rate to get a time lapse effect as well.

For ordinary viewing (w/GPS and sensor data) I use Registrator Viewer. But specifically to compress or slow the final video, the Avidemux works great.
