I installed an A129 Plus Duo with three wire hardwire kit a while back, and so far I'm impressed.
For the parking mode, I set it to timelapse. The other parking modes are not suited to my use-case.
Whilst looking at the SD card to check it's all still working properly, I noticed there was an "RO" folder with a few parking files in there. I'm assuming the G-sensor has been triggered whilst those videos were being recorded, but watching the videos back it's not clear what triggered it. Is a trigger time recorded in the metadata or somewhere else? I had a look with VLC Player and couldn't find anything obvious in the metadata.
Obviously if I came back to a car with a stoved-in bumper I could work out when it happened by watching the video, but I can think of situations when it could be useful to have a timestamp, hence the interest.
