it's possible, the chipset supports it, there are license fees involved as it's a patented technology, given the price point I'd suspect the factory probably wouldn't be keen on spending the money required though (it's quite expensive)

I'm sure if the Russian's ever decided to work on this model it would happen

I have posted in the 0803 coming thread. 64GB cards are working formatted with fat32. It is a band aid, but it works. ExFat would be better. Camera would format 64GB with ExFat by default, but it would not use it. Where to get latest FW?

You'll have to put a file on the SD card and start the camera

I copied the " 0803_20140424_V3_EW803.bin " file to the sd card and started the camera. But do not start the firmware upgrade, but the video starts.

I get the update failed message. On reboot the camera is in a frozen state with a constant chirping sound. Once the battery dies it starts up ok with the old firmware. Help please!

stick with the old firmware then, if you already have a camera it could only be a pre production piece, there could be some difference in the hardware

20140424 - No 1296P mode
20140422 - E-PRANCE logo. Boots into black video with overlay icons displayed: with fw update file present and update cancelled + locks up, has to be reset. Seems to be working fine with no fw update file present. Adds GPS stamp
