I have done just that and put the camera back onto its mount in the car. At least it now turns on and off using the power button! And I was able to access the menu to reduce loop time to 1 minute. I was worried is would be stuck in standby mode foreverTry this:
1) Use the dashcam to reformat the card again
2) Set the loop to 1 minute
Try and fill that up before your trip to see if it works.
I was wondering if the unit cannot take the heat. It was very hot to touch when I removed it - and it's still winter here! When parked in the sun I always stick a cover on the outside of the windscreen to cover it but there is nothing I can do while driving into the sun. Returning to provider not an option as we had it couriered to us from China and we leave next week.
Are you a manufacturer of Mini 0805?The camera is very small ,after operating for some time the camera surface will become hot, this is normal operation, and no need for concern. Take additional care when touching your camera after long periods of operation.
Hi, before using the camera, please format the memory cards in the camera or computer to avoid potential camera or card malfunction.so is there a solution to this issue? Mine just got stuck today and I found out only by chance since it is mounted behind my rear view mirror and I can't see solid blue LED unless I specifically look for it. (Before you tell me to put it somewhere else - it is illegal in the state of NJ to have a dashcam on the windshield with an active screen - allegedly distracts the driver).
I reformatted the card in the dashcam and it seems to be recording now, but it is a pain in the ass to keep eye out for when it becomes full. @BELLA WONG ?
Hi, memory card need to be formatted regularly to avoid potential camera or card malfunctioning.Does everyone who has the Mini 0805 have the SD Card looping issue? I'm planning to get one and set it up to record the rear of my car. My car is tinted at the back and I read the review it records great at night. Let me know if that is true. thanks
So pretty much - the answer is - NO, there is no solution, set up a routine and yank the card out, dump your videos and plug it back in. Looks like a bi-weekly ritual for me - from 11/25 thru 12/12 32GB card filled up.Hi, before using the camera, please format the memory cards in the camera or computer to avoid potential camera or card malfunction.

If the camera still have loop problem after formatting card, upgrade firmware is another choice to solve it.So pretty much - the answer is - NO, there is no solution, set up a routine and yank the card out, dump your videos and plug it back in.
