Mini 0826 on dashboard instead for screen

Gitup Git 1, Git 2, Sjcam Sj4000 wifi,
Is it possible to flip the mini 0826 and mount it on the dashboard instead of the windscreen and still get a good view on the recording? Will i have some space left in the rotation to be able to adjust it? Does the gps function work as it should also?
 
You sure? I want to replace my sjcam sj4000 with the mini 0826 on the dashboard like in the picture..
 
yes I'm sure, it doesn't work upside down, look at the 0806 if you want that function, GPS still needs to point up though
