mini0805 records black screen

Hi all first post I bought a mini0805 from gearbest back in april and has been working fine up until now when I turn the camera on a get the boot up picture of a car then it goes to a black screen with a purple bar down the left handside the icons like gps mic date/time are displayed and I'm able to get into the menus with all the settings with no problems with the picture any ideas how I can get it working again I have attached photo of what I get
