Any ideas as to why I am only getting 40 seconds of recording per clip, cam is set for 5 minute segments, 8gb card and latest firmware

Is all sequence files are 40 sec, right ?

motion detect turned on or off?

all 40 seconds and under, it was on motion detection medium, will turn it off and try

 

[jokiin]

Turn it off and the problem will go away
