I think the most interesting feature of this model is that Motion Detection records events 5 seconds before the incident begins.

My 388 does that, too (when I have it activated, generally I dont). Spooky.

I have just recently returned my Mio 538d to Halfords , after bringing to their attention that Mio were advertising MONTHLY speed safety camera updates which were non existent. After contacting MIO support several times about this issue (and getting the run-around) I finally realized that MIO are having issues with this advertised description of their product. In 2015 there were only two updates, this makes the safety camera feature not fit for purpose.
