Mio Mivue 658 WIFI

I finally installed my Mivue 658 WIFI yesterday and have a question regards the screen view whilst driving. When it first powers up it shows what it's seeing i.e. the road ahead, but then after a few seconds it switches over to only showing the time and vehicle speed. Is this a permanent setting or can I turn it off and just have the road view showing all the time? I've gone through all the settings and couldn't find anyway to turn it off.

There's an option in settings, where you can turn off "standby", that's what you are experiencing. Set it to never to keep the dashcam on, unless it's running off the fuse of ( i.e. - always turned on)
