It has now been three months since the last safety camera updates were supplyed from Mio web site. So much for their " Monthly updates for the life of your device". But they are still advertising this fact on their web page for new and old models. It would be interesting to know if anybody has been caught by speed cameras by outdated data from Mio.
 
It is now quite evident that MIO as a company doesn't intend to honour it's advertised commitments with " monthly saftety camera updates for the life of your device". In the light of this, it would be prudent to not trust your installed warnings, as they could be out of date and new speed cameras will not be located leading to speeding fines.
 
Mio has decided to update the safety camera version numbers but use the same old data from five updates ago. Looks like they don't want to spend on the new data from the appropiate source.
