Mivue 568 bricked??

Ok went to do the firmware update, did exactly what it says on Mio's web page
Did the memory card etc,
disconnected the cam from PC
connected it to charger
pressed orange button
It came on screen gave message that the update was happening
then screen went blank and the unit is totally unresponsive
Is it FUBAR'd or is it fixable?

Yeah read that, problem is my cam is totally unresponsive
