I have recently purchased the 698 dash cam and wanted to use the parking mode facility. Previously i have used a MagicPro hardwired into my car however as my car has start/stop the battery voltage is lower than standard batteries and does not keep my dash cam on for a long as i would like. I have researched into powerbanks as the alternative and decided to buy an anker 20000 mah unit, unfortunately after 5 minutes or so the dash cam powers off.
I have tinkered about with parking mode entering settings, this doesn't affect the result. I am wondering if the powerbank is turning off due to the internal battery in the dash cam. Has anyone who owns a similar mio dash cam experienced the same issue?
