I wanted a small body cam, but either they cost me an arm and a leg, or they record in AVI/MJPEG, and frankly that's throwing away money as it is. So, I had a Mobius lying around doing nothing, and I thought, lets drill that hole, and make my own. The clip needs adjustment,. but you get the general idea...

Here's a clip where I wear it on a short motorcycle trip, as you can see I need to place it higher up.... I'm just a small guy.... and the motor is soooo big.. I love it.... :D

does the lens move? Or the hole size matches exactly the lens barrel or the lens module dia?

I got the lens stuck inside the housing with a bit of good luck.... but it's a bit tricky, cause you need to cut away some plastic inside.

I've asked the misses for a little motorcycle-jacket-adjustment to fit the camera higher up the coat.... she has sown-in a few magnets on a metallic plate inside the seam, check the pictures.

Samples later, maybe tomorrow if we have a good day....

3d Printed mod (for a different purpose...butMobius MOd.jpg)

I know, but now the gravity sort of keeps the camera in the upright position AND I don't have to get the lens cable for the 90 degree turn....

NEVERTHELESS it is a very ELEGANT solution I'll gladly admitt!!

PS: Can the lens be mounted either 90 degree turned or not turned?? Then it may be just what I need.....

AND: is the housing sold anywhere? I don't have a 3d printer....

there was a similar case sold by hobbyking (mobius-to-gopro-form-factor-conversion-case-for-gimbal-mounting)

I do not have a 3d printer too, I used https://www.3dhubs.com
Also if now they changed the policy, there are similar services OR you can find a 3d printing service near you.

Still too short.....
