Mobius - Draining battery suggestions please

Hi,

As title suggests, I went to start my car and had a flat battery, I know its not the battery or alternator as I had them checked out, I didnt realise for a while my cigarette ligther is always live, and so my dashcams were always on, albeit on motion sensor mode.

so wonderinf what my options are now really, as I do like the mobius (apart from the ****ty suction mounts) whats the best way to have them installed, but without draining the battery power please? Im abit of a novice, so simple terms will be helpful

motion detect mode uses the same amount of power as they do when running, you either need to wire it to an ignition switched circuit or add a battery discharge prevention device

you could buy these, or depending on what power supply you are using now you could just wire a female lighter socket to a switched circuit and plug your existing power supply in
