This is a recent issue. In the past, a folder with the video files would pop up when plugging the Mobius in. Now I get an error message saying that something is wrong with the external USB device. It takes multiple attempts of unplugging and plugging the USB cable into the dashcam for it to finally establish a secure connection and the folder of video files to appear.

I was thinking about ordering a multi-card reader to see if this is an issue with the microSD card but before I do that I wanted to post here and see if this is a common problem with the camera. Anyone encounter something like this before?

Thanks!

I only have this issue with maxi(s) on a particular port.
I did not change any windows autoplay setting, did you?

No changes. My phone still pops up with no issue after plugging it in.

Things to try:

Try a different USB cable.

Try reformatting the microSD card (in camera), or better yet, try a different memory card (also freshly reformatted)

Try connecting the camera before turning on the PC. After the PC is turned on, the camera should be recognized as a removable disk. DriveCleanup.exe (freeware) may also be able to fix USB corruption problems.

Try downloading and reinstalling a fresh copy of the firmware.
