Sorry if this has been discussed before, but when I searched there was nothing recent.

I have mobius cameras front and back. No problem with the front camera, but the back one loses time and date information (reverts to an earlier year) if the car is not driven for a few days.
Is it likely that the problem lies with the super capacitors (no batteries installed), as I suspect?
If so, I shall buy replacements.
Thanks for any advice. John

yes will be capacitors losing their capacity which shortens how long it will keep the clock working

Yes, it's the capacitors. Same problem here with one of mine.
