Mobius Shuts Off during engine start

Hi guys,

So whenever I leave my car parked and have the mobius running in 24/7 mode and i go to start the engine the cam shuts off and doesn't restart. I have to manually restart it. Is there anyway i can prevent the mobius from shutting off. I am currently using a super capacitor in the mobius.

Sounds to me like the start-up issue, I had the same problem. When your engine cranks the power is momentarily diverted, the camera senses this and shuts down and has to be unplugged to restart. Try update to the latest firmware, that will most likely fix your problem.

You need to check if the car's electrics cut power to the power socket when the starter motor cranks over. If so I'd suggest hard wiring a dedicated 12V->USB power supply box onto a non switched power feed.

Are you running the latest firmware, this issue was improved in 2.18
