Those have been around for several years. I remember seeing them for sale on Banggood. Apparently, they didn't sell too well or they likely wouldn't be marked down so much.

There are lot's of mobuis to go-pro and other mounting solutions on thingiverse. Lots of fun to design and play.

it made sense when mobius came out...there was not any of gopro's form factor clone cameras capable of similar quality. Now plenty of options. I can understand the actual firesale price..
