If the Mobius 2 is not exactly what you wanted perhaps the Mobius Mini will be more to your liking.

This is NOT recommended for dash cam use. It has a 30 minute battery life. There is no supercapacitor option.

A support thread exists here. --> http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2697022&pp=100

Cutie.

I assume we are down to a 8MM or what ever it is lens thread.

Okay.
Maybe my memory is playing tricks on me again, or i misread my caliper back when i measured the C1 lens.
Assumed it used the same type of lens as on the Innovv C1 ( C1 is only innovv camera i personally know off beside the C3 but that's a 12 mm fine thread lens for sure )
Assuming again innovv C2 and C4 is using these smaller lenses too.

Lot of assuming going on here, fully knowing its the mother of all fawkups. :p

I just got a reply from eletoponline. This version will NOT be able to use a supercapacitor. There is no room for one to fit.

Aw shucks, you had me drooling for one until that. Still liking it though.

I wonder would it be possible to have a capacitor on the USB cable ? off course this would not work if cable get dislodged in crash situation.
But for not having lipo inside and finalization of last file it might work.

I do like it have IS, hope its as good as on other action cameras with good IS.

Actually i think IS is a must have for any action camera.

There are some very tiny coin style super-caps available. I think it might be doable if the developer were to look into that possibility.

Somewhere I've seen 5F versions of these but I can't recall the source ATM.

I would not mind replacing my left mounted M1 with a MM, sure the m1 don't seem like much from the outside, but smaller is always better in this case.

The latter is also what "she" said last night :p

The new Mini looks very stylish but I wish it was all black. A camera that small should be as stealthy as possible IMHO.

Sadly we have been in a measuring contest our entire lives :D

yeah I'd hazard a guess that this has something to do with it, does seem as though this one is targeted more toward the RC crowd

I could see it as a stealthy pocket camera. I always carry a Mobius with me and I sometimes get great footage of things I probably wouldn't capture quite so easily holding up a cell phone in front of my face.

it certainly has it's place, I guess heat is rarely a problem for the RC crowd so they can probably push things a bit further there anyway, dashcam use introduces plenty of other issues as we know all too well

I would think that a properly mounted camera would be found somewhere in with the rest of the wreckage of an RC crash.
