Hello,
I have had my car keyed down one side. I already have a nextbase dash cam but this didn't pick anything up in parking mode.
Are there any cameras that turn on just by movement in front of the car other than g sensor?
The car is left in a basement car park during the night so don't need to worry about constantly recording people, cars and cats going past and setting it off.

Sorry to hear, i had the same happen ( before dashcams ) a few days before i had arranged to sell my car, so had to take a dive on prize

Motion detect works of what is in the cameras field of view, most important are to get one that have prebuffered parking mode so you get some time before the triggering event too.
