Hi guys!
I just signed up here to get a lot of dash cam information.
I'm planning to purchase a 1ch dash cam $70 range (it can be +/- $20 depends on what I'm looking for) with high temperature resistance.
This is to learn and understand how the dash cam works and maintaining them.
In the future, I'll be upgrading it to 2ch dash cam.
I was searching around and I found HP dash cam model (https://www.amazon.com/gp/B074CV39CZ)
this seems good to me.
Any opinions? or do you have better dash cam recommendation?

the HP (not made by HP, it's just a licensed product) has an internal battery, not something you want if high temperature resistance is part of your selection criteria

I see.
I was looking at that since it detects if there are any hit and run when my car is parked.
Do you have suggestion I should look?

sounds good in theory, doesn't work so well in practice unfortunately, camera wakes up after the fact and takes a few seconds to start capturing any info which can be too late, still relying on battery which is not a good thing in a hot environment

So, what dash cam should I get which can take 64GB (which I already have)?

So, do anyone have any recommendation what should I look for?

choose something which uses capacitors rather than a battery, not a lot in your price range, very little if you want to buy locally

Ok, but the only tech local store I have is Bestbuy and they don't carry dash cams I'm looking for

there's a couple of decent basic models that could squeeze into your budget if buying locally, A118C, A118C2, G1WS for anything above these your budget would pretty much limit you to buying from China

This Aukey DR02 wedge dash cam is currently on sale for $69.99 on Amazon so it meets your price requirement. Usually it sells for $99.99

It is similar to the Viofo A119, A119S and the SG9665GC and it has a super-capacitor and Sony IMX323 sensor (good night time performance). It will accept up to a 128GB memory card and has other good basic dash cam features. Comes with a 45 day Money Back Guarantee and 24-Month Warranty Card.

I don't have any personal experience with this cam but Aukey is a well known company that has a reputation for decent and responsive customer service.

This could make for a quite decent, low cost first dash cam.

Ok thanks for some suggestion.
So, if i bring the budget to $100, Rexing V1 and DDpai mini2 will be good ones?

The 45 day return policy and two year warranty make the decision easier to take a chance on a product like this for a first dash cam. I recommended it because the OP initially proposed a budget of 70 dollars and this camera has a lot to offer for that price if it performs reasonably well.
