That thing should have a 1080p able Sony IMX185 sensor, though it too have to drop exposure to awfull slow speeds, but it is light sensetive for sure.

It is a camera / dashcamera maybe, having the modest D1 resolution, my old 4 channel setup was able to make same low light recordings with the cameras based on Sony effio E and Effio S cameras.

You can get totally awsome color low light cameras, and in full HD too, hopefully dashcams get to this level soon.
