I currently have a 2 year old Spytec A118C, it takes USB Mini so I have it plugged into a long lead that connects to a 2.4a output USB socket.
Unfortunately it is on its last legs, it reboots a lot. Part of the reason might be the Louisiana heat, the poor thing gets real toasty while parked.
I like that it has a capacitor, like the micro SDHC, day time video is good enough, night time could be better.
Have had a couple of occasions over the last year where it appeared to be fine then i look on the card and find out it hasn't recorded for 2 weeks.
Using it simply for day-to-day driving in case of an accident or what not. I would use the continuous record, not interested in the 'collision' recording, i'll get the recording off before it gets overwitten.
Looking for a replacement, the A118C cost me $90, looking at the same sort of price. Would like it to be a bit more reliable
Thanks
