How do you turn off the display on the camera? I went through all the options. I don’t want the display on while I am driving
 
I did mess with that setting but it shuts the camera down from recording? If the display is off should you still see the light blinking it is recording?

Well there are a limited number of people on this planet, and it is a Sunday!

If the LED is blinking then it is not recording.
A solid on LED means recording.
The screen saver only turns off the screen backlight.
