I'm looking for a dash cam but also a backup cam combo. Though, if there are no good backup cam combo options, I at least want to know the best dash cam option for my purposes.
Price is less of a concern than reliability. It has to hold up under heat. I live in the southeast where temperatures can regularly reach 95-100 F with 80-90% humidity. It gets hot enough inside cars during the summer you can probably bake a batch of cookies. I also do a lot of night driving.
