Just noticed this on Lukas website:-

Hello Lukas users. 

New firmware of Lukas Black box LK-7900 ACE has been released.



The improvements are as follow 
1. Security LED On/Off option added
2. SD Card memory capacity option added
   Always:Event:Motion  30:20:50
3. Low-power Mode added
   If the input voltage drops down to below 7.5V, Black box automatically reboots and stands by with ‘LOPO’ message on the segment window.
4. System stabilization improved

  • Firmware Version:  AC17
  • Black box Model:  LK-7900 ACE

There is also a new release of the viewer to take account of extra features.

This firm does appear to have it's act together!!

Here is the download link.
For me is strange that 7.5V value.
The changelog is korean traditional style about some blinking LED and system improvements.

7.5V is way too low...should be at least 12V.

Hi,
DHL just showed up with my Brand New LUKAS 7900, incl. CPL Filter, incl 8GB Mem card.
Wonder if I will need that upgrade already.
Now comes the hard part, take the time to install it.

P.S. English Manual missing, no problem since I read every day in Korean %^#@!$%^&. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. Actually an assumption that it is Korean on my end

Congratulations. It won't take that long to install. Is this your first Dash Cam/Black Box? You can check your firmware but I think you may need to upgrade to get English voice and other features. It was just released yesterday. It also corrected my GPS problems.

Hi Al,
Yes it is my first Dash-Cam. I will hook it up with Parking enabled. I will just go into the fuse box and measure which fuse has power, tap into it with a In-Line fuse holder and a 5 amp fuse (Box 3A, Camera .2A).
I downloaded the English Manual from Lukas.
