Not sure with this model, but many newer cameras also recycle the protected read only recordings once the memory size for that have filled up.
So you you don't want all too many event recordings that are fakes, but other than that i think there are plenty of room in that memory space, and so you don't have to detect your car have been dented on the very day.
But you have to have parking mode enabled for the camera to detect something when parked.
You can simulate events while parked by kicking the wheels, slapping the windscreen - pushing the car body ASO
BUT ! as i said i am not sure if this particular model handle parking and events like that, so the official Nextbase people or users will have to verify this.
