New SG9665GC proving useful already...

Maybe that other power supply, we used 5 different versions before we changed to the one we use now, it's the lowest noise model we've been able to find
 
The circuitry on those 12v USB adaptors is usually poor. Lots of switching noise and poor design/shielding (even from itself).

Another thing you need to factor in is the voltage drop on a long 4m cable. The thinner the gauge the bigger the drop.

The 12v USB adaptor will step down to around 5-5.3v as per USB standard but if you factor in the voltage drop on a typical 4m usb cable (26AWG, copper) the dashcam will end up with only 4.8v.

The stock charger looks to be of good design just by looking at it. It has its step down converter away from the cig plug, and its also got a ferrite choke to suppress EMI. Ill throw it on my scope this week, see how good it is.
