Newbie to 0803. Looking for 1card GPS firmware to fix speed issue.

So, I just bought the 0803 for general use and when I respond to calls as a volunteer firefighter and EMT. Great little camera! However, I do need the speed on the stamp for legal reasons, and right now it shows MPH and is actually displaying KM.

I know others have complained about this, and I saw firmware listed for the correct model of my camera, but it doesn't really explain what the firmware does or fixes. Does firmware exist to fix this and have it properly display MPH?

You probably have the mini 0805 which has a fix available for that issue - check in the 0805 section...

How could I tell if I have the 0805? I ordered the 0803.

If you have 2560x1080p video resolution listed as available, you have the newer Mini 0805. If so, you can update firmware to 20141204 to fix GPS location and add MPH. Do not used this Firmware if you have 0803 unit.
