Hi,

I wonder if any one can help....

I’ve got a nextbase 112 fitted to my Ford Fiesta.

On 3 separate occasions I’ve had a flat car battery, the person that came to restart my car checked the battery and suggested it could be the dashcam draining the car battery.

When my car was jump started the light on the dashcam was blue rather than red so guessing it’s charging?

I have reformatted the SD card every couple of weeks and I have also taken the dashcam out and charged it separately.

I also took the dashcam back to Halfords where I got it fitted to check it was fitted correctly and they said it was.

I noticed over the past few weeks that sometimes when I would turn the ignition off the dashcam would stay on...sometimes the light would flash red then it would go off when I switched the ignition off but there doesn’t seem a pattern to this happening when it stay on.

I wonder if I’m doing anything wrong? Is there anything else I can try?

It’s brand new dashcam and replaced a faulty one so can’t see that it’s faulty?

Any further help would be much appreciated

Thanks,
Laura
