My dashcam is mounted on the screen with the supplied suction bracket. I rarely view the footage but needed to after a close shave the other day.
As soon as I saw the images it was obvious that each frame was blurred by movement. Not out of focus but blurred in a single direction and thus making number plates and signs quite difficult to read. I examined the suction holder and have found that there is some movement between the ball joint and camera attachment. Its as though the plastic itself flexes as it is quite thin at that point.
Does anyone else have this problem? My previous 402 produced extremely sharp videos with no shaking but I can't remember if the ball joint and camera attachment were different.
