Nextbase 612GW or Garmin 55

Hi All

I’ve been struggling to find a dash cam which I liked and now I think I’ve found two, I can’t decide between them.

Which would you recommend?

Nextbase 612GW
or
Garmin Dash Cam 55

what's your criteria, what are your must have features?

I think the main things are the ability to read number plates, so quality (day and night) and a parking mode.

the Nextbase will probably be better in well lit situations, the Garmin is likely to be better in poorly lit situations, parking mode though I believe the Garmin may be the better choice, I think @lacibaci has that model Garmin and might be able to offer some real world insight

Thanks again for the advice, I got myself a Garmin 55 and have to say I’m really pleased with it.
