I want to buy a hardwire kit for my HD DUO predominantly to have the parking mode permanently live regardless of the ignition on or off but cannot get my head round the powering of normal recording mode. Would this be recording 24/7?
I currently have switched ignition power up from a usb port which is fine but cannot rely on the Duo’s internal battery after about 18 months as its power is failing hence why I require permanent car battery power.
Anyone know how these two modes work with a hardwire kit?
