.NMEA files not created !? DrivePro220

Hello,

I just bought the other day an Transcend DrivePro 220 dashcam. Firmware is 2.0.0 out of the box.

Everything worked fine, except for the .NMEA files that need to be for each video file.

But alas, not a single file is created. On the sd-card, I find only .MOV files. The GPS is working, because the lat-longs are imprinted on the videos.

I find no setting to turn the creation of .NMEA files on/off.

Any hints?

The nmea data may be embedded within the movie files, they don't have to be in a separate file

I just had to google the .NMEA format and had no idea it was marine and GPS related............. Interesting stuff

That is one seriously ugly camera with no stealth

Thanks, I switched to other DashCam views app, and it shows the route, so it must be embedded into the movie files.
