Hi,

I've attempted many things with this unit, its turning out to be a nightmare... The unit was attached to the AUX outlet on my bike via USB using the power connector supplied.

After a while I noticed its not beeping when I turn the bike on and I dont have a wifi signal.

I used the unit for about a week - and now its dead.

I've tried the following:

1. With SD Card inserted
2. Without SD Card inserted
3. Disconnecting all cables but the Power on the motorbike
4. Using the USB Connection inside with an outlet and plug
5. Using the micro usb port on the side with an outlet
6. Using the micro usb port on the side with a computer

All the same response, power on... red light comes on, stays solid for maybe 6-8 seconds and turns off.

I've used the reset button inside the usb cover a few times...... No response.

MODS PLEASE MOVE TO B1M forum.......... this is a B1M Unit - my mistake.

The dashcam does not reboot if the 1ch-camera(front camera) signal lost. So, please remember that plug both cameras into the DVR box (at least plug the first-channel camera back into the DVR box) before powering on!

And you can give it a try to swap the camera part in this way

DVR connector Front + camera rear

DVR connector rear + camera front

Thank you @estore009 that seems to have brought the unit back to life.

When I swapped the camera's around like you said, the unit did the following:

(Camera's swapped R>F F>R)
* Came on, status lights unit beeped.
* Wifi came on
* After all lights came up, unit reset wifi dropped. Unit beeped again and came back up.

(I thought that is the reset event now completed, so I put the camera's back in the correct position. R>R F>F)
*Unit Beeped
* All lights came on
* Wifi on
* Unit Reset - Beeped again.
* All lights come up (and controller on to take picture - red LED).
* No more beeping, all lights turned on.
* No wifi, just all lights on the unit.

You can update the newest firmware 20200327 version if your camera loads an old firmware!

Thank you! firmware update now complete - the unit seems to be powering on and behaving like normal.

One last issue, default password of 1234567890 is not being accepted on the wifi.

Is it possible to reset this?
