Traveling in NJ over the weekend, I came across this awesome custom ride. I draw your attention to the angle of the wheels. This car is effectively riding on the edge of all four tires- I can't imagine what this kind of wheel alignment does to your wet weather handling or stopping distances, or how this even passes state safety inspections. Guess you gotta change out tires pretty often, too...

Reminds me of some of the Hot Wheels cars that I had when I was a kid 🤣 I wonder if that's the look they were going for??

I am surprised he has gotten away with that much tire angle. However, if it meets the minimum ground tread surface for the vehicle weight, it could be legal.

Cops around here are hot on the vehicles that have this 'Carolina Squat' where the back of the vehicle is close to the ground, and the front is elevated...a lot. I saw a white pickup in my area for a few days, and then suddenly it disappeared from the roads. I am pretty sure he was stopped and ticketed. The beam of the headlights can't be more than 6 inches above the factory build. This guy had headlights that pointed well into the sky.

Ha - I saw that years ago. Had to travel to South Carolina and noticed a few trucks that looked like they were in launch position with their noses pointed toward the sky. 🤣 Didn't know there was a "localism" name for it.

Yeah that seem to be some kind of JAP thing with wheels like that.
Why people would ever go there i have no idea, must be 2 X if not more attention seeking than 16 year old girls.

Funny part is that I think the driver was a woman. Perhaps she was not the owner? Still can’t imagine that would pass safety inspection…
