Not able to rotate files

First I'm not sure if my dashcam is a 805 version - for sure it is something from 801/803/805 family and has GPS. Firmware version is 20160706 v1.0
I have notices that my dashcam is not rotating files when a memory card get full. I thought that will replace older files with newer based on a file timestamp but simple it shows that the memory card is not present when will get full.
Any thought?
