Now a human driver could have avoided getting involved in the accident by predicting the path of the out of control vehicle and accelerating/braking/turning to avoid it, the robot vehicle takes no action! Maybe it was more interested in saving the lives of the occupants of the out of control vehicle, and other innocent people in the area, by providing some assistance in slowing them down?

Hehe yeah if i could read it, then it would be interesting to see the algorithms of such cars, whats it gonna be ? save me / save them / save everybody / start recording and do nothing.

Then again if you are not a extremely foreseeing driver then the accident start at 03 seconds and the crash at 05 seconds, factoring out reaction time ASO then you have very little time to do anything.
