Not recording rear camera at all

Anyone else having or heard of an issue where the rear camera doesn't record any footage at all? I know its connected and sending data as I can see it on the LCD screen preview, but the SD card only has F and PF files saved. Is there a setting somewhere I need to toggle?

Only just got this camera, firmware V1.0.

if you see the rear view on screen then it is being detected ok, what memory card are you using?

As far as I was aware, 1.0 is the latest as per VIOFO's website

I'm using this Sandisk High Endurance 256GB

Turns out it was in exFAT. I formatted it on the camera itself and now its FAT32.

I also managed to find V1.2 build 20191101 here so going to try running that now.

You can search for and download guiformat, it is a free small programme for windows that will format anything (except things that are not attached computer drives) in fat32. It seems to run in any windows version so far.

format the card in the camera, don't use third party formatting tools for this model

exFat may cause some looping recording issues.

We plan to add format notification for an exFat card in the future.

Issue resolved! Pretty sure it was the FAT32 formatting that resolved it. Thanks for the suggestion!
