Not turn off

So why would you want it ON?
Some people find the camera runs cooler with the screen off, especially when the rear cam is plugged in.
 
Yes as it’s been pointed out already, I dont want to see the screen whilst driving, and although it’s behind the rear view mirror, I can still see if it’s on and I don’t want to be distracted by it, I sincerely hope it records while the screen is off otherwise it’d be pretty useless, btw, it’s behaving itself so far, apart from having to format the card ( which I believe is normal) and I’m reluctant to update it whilst it’s ok...
 
Good plan. If it ain't broke then don't fix it.
