Is there a good reason you took away the ability to connect the camera to a PC as a USB device? I didn't realize this before I bought it, and it's a real pain to have to twist at unnatural angles to reach around the rear-view mirror to eject the card, then spend five minutes hunting for it after it flew across the car when it ejected and fell into some random crevice, when I used to be able to just take the USB cable out of the cigarette lighter adaptor and plug it into my laptop with the old Street Guardian camera (and, well, still can, since I moved that one to the rear window).

It just seems a huge step backwards in usability.

yes we took that ability out as it can damage the camera as the USB output of the computer is too low

SG provide a nifty little USB card reader, more easy to carry memory card than whole camera from car ( if you don't launch memory card cuz then it can be a pain to retrieve )
