I'm considering using my 2017 Honda CR-V's OBD port as the power source for an A129 Pro. Based on the research I've done, it seems that none of the fuses are switched, so my preferred choice of hardwiring isn't an option. Has anyone found an OBD power cable that works reliably with the A129 Pro?

OBD ports are not switched either, some of the data disappears when the engine is off, but you still get power and some data, including battery voltage which could be useful for an OBD hardwire kit.

I've had a couple that have worked OK for lesser cameras, not seen one I would trust for an A129 Pro. Guess you could buy an OBD plug and solder a Viofo HK3 hardwire kit to it, although there is no ACC signal to solder to, so it could only be a 2 wire implementation.

I bought one from Amazon for my original A129 and now use it on my A129 pro.

It has a switch built in to select either continuous power or switched power.

I am using this on a 2017 Mercedes C300.
