Opening up the camera?

Has anyone opened up the camera yet? Curious if it’s difficult

No, i would offer to try it for you, but i am house sitting and dont get back to my apartment and B1W + tools in 10 days.

Easy to do.
Pop off the end caps. One on where the card goes and one at the button.
Some small screws under the SD card end.
Then the whole thing is just clipped together down the seams running along it's length.
No other screws. Edit: sorry there are 2 screws to remove before you can pop it apart. In the body at the SD card end. The other holes at the other end have nothing in them.
Squeeze in the middle on the lens side of the body and it pops apart. Only 2 clips holding it in one on each side in the middle.
Can also confirm it is using the Novatek GM8135S Not the BGA package. The 128 lead LQFP.
Yet to confirm sensor.
Uses 2 Supercaps from GTE Cap in series rating 5.5V 2.5 Farads.

Can confirm sensor. Is correct. No markings when zoomed right in but it looks identical. 80 BGA package and dimensions match.
