Panorama II S broken video clips

This is a known problem using SDXC cards on the X2. A new firmware with enhanced exFAT performance is in the works. A special engineer was called in and this will take a couple weeks. Can you try the same test formatting to fat32 via this specific utility? (See last post)

This was exactly the utility used to test FAT32.

I can confirm that broken video clips are fixed in:
Panorama G firmware "1.01.02 2014-12-27"
Panorama S firmware "1.15.01 2014.12.24"
(although time to time Panorama S produce broken clips, but much less frequently.)

The Panorama S/G rebooting issue was trace down to Chinese 220v-to-12v converter. I was able to reproduce reboot when switching on light:

Yes those low cost AC to 12V cigarette adapters are always trouble.

(although time to time Panorama S produce broken clips, but much less frequently.)

For short term in-house tests those adapters might work, but not recommended for longer time.
As I remember ,they are 300-500 mAh ?

What they are and what they say they are is generally very different, crack one open and have a look and you'll find quite a lot of them are actually quite dangerous

I had burned 3 of those cheap adapters 3-4y ago when was just getting into dashcam world. After 3rd lesson I ordered a proper one which was 5x price of the cheaper ones, but at least it lasts 2nd year.

Same experience, total waste of money. Now I have a professional power setup for bench tests.
